WHAT?

Taste of Asia is Georgia Restaurant Association's second annual celebration of the Asian culinary tradition. More than 30 Atlanta restaurants participate in the week-long event, giving diners a chance to sample delicious Asian cuisine. Each of these restaurants offers a special menu during the week. Depending on the restaurant, diners may enjoy a three-course meal or family style dining - all priced from $19.95 - $28.00 per dinner.

WHEN & WHERE?

The event kicks off on August 5th with a Public Tasting at Macy's Lenox, presented by The Coca-Cola Company, Georgia Power, Infinite Energy, Sysco Foodservice of Atlanta, and U.S. Foodservice. The event is open to the public and will feature a wide variety of Asian cuisine from over 20 participating GRA restaurants. Guests will enjoy a wide variety of Asian cuisine and entertainment during the event, including live music and dance performances. Tickets to the Public Tasting are available HERE and at participating restaurants, for $10 - which can be redeemed at the event for 10 taste coupons. Additional coupons are available at the tasting for $1 each. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Taste of Asia's Dine-Out Week is August 10 - 16 at over 30 participating restaurants.

WHY?

As the voice of Georgia's restaurant industry, the GRA's mission is to serve the needs of and promote the state's restaurant and foodservice industries. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from Tate of Asia Dine-Out Week will support a merit-based scholarship for a culinary student who wants to pursue specialized training in Asian cuisine.
